Driver Education

Earning a state driver’s license is the goal for this course. Trainees will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the state driver’s license examination. Both classroom driver education and behind-the-wheel driver training are part of this class. Job Corps will pay all learner’s permit, license and related test fees.

Having a valid license is often an employment requirement. Graduates also often must commute to and from a job and a license is necessary to secure and retain employment.
