The prestigious Promising and Effective Practices Network
(PEPNet) of the National Youth Employment Coalition in 1999
selected the San Jose Job Corps Center for PEPNet recognition.
It honored the Center's initiative in linking with other agencies
and
businesses to enhance opportunities for trainees by leveraging local
